My path
In 2010, something extraordinary happened — I felt energy surge through me and out the top of my head for the first time. I knew the experience was significant to me, but I didn't understand it.
For the next fourteen years, I tried to make sense of what I had experienced. Astrology became one of the tools I turned to during that search. I read extensively, studied charts, and became particularly interested in psychological astrology and the work of Liz Greene. Astrology helped me recognize patterns and gave me another language for thinking about my experiences, but for me, it wasn't the whole answer.
In 2024, I found Reiki. For the first time, I had a formal practice centered directly on the energy I had spent so many years trying to understand. I continued Reiki training through to the Master-Teacher level. That same year, I discovered PSYCH-K®, which approached things from a different angle: subconscious beliefs and the changes we want to make in our lives. I completed all levels of PSYCH-K® training as well.
Reiki and PSYCH-K® have become an extensive part of my own personal inner and life work, along with my continued interest in astrology and how that fits into the bigger picture. I've practiced Reiki and PSYCH-K® with others during training, and I'm now expanding that work beyond the training environment.
Outside of Reiki and PSYCH-K®, you might find me in the kitchen crafting a batch of homemade ice cream — one of my favorite ways to bring a little sweetness to everyday life. 🍦
Years of independent reading, chart study, and personal research, including extensive reading of Liz Greene. I do not represent this as formal astrological certification.
I am a programmer by profession. My interest in astrology and research eventually crossed paths with my technical background, leading me to develop Astro Squirrel — astrology research software I'm building through Bushy Tail Tech Tools.
